Indigo Inspirations was originally formed in early 2006 by my friend Tracey and I. We were given an amazing opportunity to open a shop at the Shearwater Steiner School here in Mullumbimby where our six children (3 each) attend.
The space had been run by parents as an Organic Fruit and Vege Co-op that we kept 
going while using part of the space to introduce the quality craft items that the children of the school were used to using. We very quickly became passionate about this side of the business and realised the stress of keeping the fresh produce at maximum 
freshness took time away from supplying our customers with our beautiful and individual products.
Soon we became known to the local community and people came to see what new products we were constantly filling our shelves with that would inspire them to create something special. We have become known for the beautiful colours of our hand dyeing, the quality and range of our finished products as well as the craft materials and our customer service.
To provide an even better service, we established our first web site in early 2007 to 
give customers greater access to our products. Due to Tracey’s commitments elsewhere, Tracey left the business in July 2008, leaving me the sole operator. Since then I have revamped the web site and designed a new logo - hope you like it.
The shop hours are 11.30 to 3.30 Tuesday to Friday and with the support of my partner Justin and three gorgeous children who help out as often as they can, I have time to follow my creative side with hand dyeing wool and wool felt.
